Privacy

This page covers this website. Pre-release builds of the application carry their own privacy text, which opens from their Help menu; the application’s privacy policy will be here when it is released.

The short version

• No cookies, and no advertising.
• Nothing to sign up for.
• Nothing we collect is sold, rented or shared for advertising.

Counting visits

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and how many go on to download — counted together with Outonomy’s other websites, so a visit from one to the next can be seen. It sets no cookies: a visit is remembered in your browser tab only, and forgotten when you close it. Each page view says what any page view says — the page, the page you came from, your browser and the size of your screen. It does not record the screen or follow anyone to other sites.

Cloudflare serves the site and keeps brief records of requests, as any web host does.
